Day-Glo Dynasty
Starting around 1958, fluorescent Day-Glo orange-red paint was applied to many military aircraft as a conspicuity marking for collision avoidance. The era of Day-Glo diminished rapidly with the adoption of camouflage, especially during the war in Southeast Asia. Herewith, Day-Glo run amok!
